About the Properties tab

The properties displayed on the Properties tab (shown in the following figure) depend on the selected document’s class and your system configuration. Some properties may be required by the system. To enter a value for a property, type text in the Value column or choose a value from a predefined list.

The icons for each property indicate what type of property it is as described in the following table:

Icon	Description
	Required property. Select an approved value from a predefined list if one is configured.
	Optional property. Leave empty, enter any text, or select an approved value from a predefined list if one is configured.
	Read-only property. Cannot be changed.
	Optional property. Enter any text.
